Yooper Hooper The annual Yooper Hooper will take place on Saturday, April 20th.
Registration forms are available in the main high school office.


Middle School Track Middle School track is open to students in Grades 6-8 and sign up sheets are currently available in the high school office.

Practices will begin after spring break. In order to practice each students must have a physical AND waiver on file. If you have questions about physicals and waivers, please contact Mrs. Amy Videtich at 906.341.4300.

There will be a student information meeting after spring break during seminar.
The first practice will be after school on April 10th.


Student Led Tutoring There is now an option of peer to peer tutoring.
Students can sign up in the office to obtain tutoring after school on Monday, Tuesday or Friday in the Manistique Public Library.
Please see the sign up sheets in the office for additional details.


Grand Valley Open House GVSU (Grand Valley State University) will be hosting the annual "Laker Open House" days in April in Allendale, Michigan.
Laker open house days are scheduled for April 6th and April 13th, 2024 (each on a Saturday).
Students take a campus and housing tour, view presentations about academics and campus life, and talk to faculty about GVSU programs.

Set Seg Skilled Trades Scholarship Are you a senior student interested in pursuing a skilled trade?
You could be eligible to receive a $500 scholarship!
The SET SEG Foundation is awarding 20 scholarships to Michigan public high school seniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, technical school, or other accredited technical institute within the next 12 months. Click here for more information!
Applications must be submitted by April 15!


4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resource Camp is now open! Camp will be held July 28-August 3, 2024 at Camp Chickagami in Presque Isle, on the shores of Lake Esau. This year’s camper fee is $500.00 per camper (and can likely be paid by the Schoolcraft Conservation camp scholarships!) and includes 6 nights of lodging, all meals and snacks, a t-shirt, and experiential learning provided by MSUE staff, MSU Fisheries and Wildlife and MSUE Sea Grant. Camper age is 13-15 and they do not need to be a 4-H’er to attend.
